I immersed myself in reading science fiction<\/strong> during my youth<\/strong>, almost exclusively this literary genre<\/strong>. I stumbled upon a collection of novels<\/strong> locked in a cupboard<\/strong> demon father<\/strong>. This immersion<\/strong> fed my thirst for adventure<\/strong> and ofimaginary<\/strong>. I also devoured a quantity of comics<\/strong> of science fiction<\/strong>. THE 1970s and 1980s<\/strong> were teeming with exceptional graphic talents<\/strong>. Looking back, I realize today that I had a predilection<\/strong> for the designers<\/strong> whose style<\/strong> flirted with thehyperrealism<\/strong>. This probably explains why I seek to be so accurate<\/strong> in my writings<\/strong>. I will mention this subject<\/strong> in more detail in another ticket<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the science fiction authors<\/strong> which have marked me the most, it is difficult for me to draw up one hierarchy<\/strong> so many were they and influential<\/strong>. Among the most known<\/strong>, some have seen their adapted works<\/strong> At movie theater<\/strong> or declined in series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am thinking in particular of Frank Herbert<\/strong> and to his mythical universe Dune<\/strong>. The first adaptation project<\/strong> was initiated by Alejandro Jodorowsky<\/strong> but remained aborted; it will be necessary to wait 1984<\/strong> so that David Lynch<\/strong> delivers his vision<\/strong>, representative of the know-how<\/strong> of the time despite shared criticism<\/strong>. More recently, Denis Villeneuve<\/strong> revisited this fresco<\/strong> brilliantly, taking advantage of the modern technologies<\/strong> while maintaining a remarkable quality of production<\/strong>. To the television<\/strong>, we can cite the mini-series<\/strong> from the 2000s as well as a more recent production<\/strong> exploring the Genesis<\/strong> of theHerbert's universe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could also mention Isaac Asimov<\/strong>, whose concepts<\/strong> around the robots<\/strong> and famous ones Three Laws of Robotics<\/strong>, just like the Foundation saga<\/strong>, have deeply marked the gender<\/strong>. Arthur C. Clarke<\/strong> is also among my major influences<\/strong>, with his Meeting with Rama<\/strong> and above all 2001: A Space Odyssey<\/strong>, co-written with Stanley Kubrick<\/strong> and masterfully brought to thescreen in 1968<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there are so many more\u2026 Van Vogt<\/strong> and his cycle of the World of A<\/strong>, Robert A. Heinlein<\/strong> and many others, all of whom have marked my passionate reader's journey<\/strong>. Among these novels<\/strong>, some have marked me to the point that I have them reread<\/strong> years later, like Dune<\/strong>, Foundation<\/strong> or even The Robots<\/strong> ofAsimov<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
