Testing all the AIs on the market to "find out which one is the best"?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's tempting\u2026 and often ineffective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfaf The real question isn't "which AI is the best?"\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question is: which AI is best for MY use, with MY constraints (time, budget, level of requirements, risks)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Choose your \u201cbusiness objective\u201d before testing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two very different strategies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROI strategy (pragmatic): quickly find a tool that covers the essentials and saves you time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benchmark strategy (expertise\/purchase): compare several models in detail to select \u201cthe best\u201d based on a set of specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49 If your goal is ROI, the 80\/20 rule is more than enough: you are looking for AI that meets 80% of needs with 20% of learning effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) The trap: AIs are constantly changing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comparing AI \u201cin absolute terms\u201d is almost impossible, because the versions are constantly evolving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without a robust method, it's easy to get confused:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
