Robert: <\/strong>But what you describe in your project<\/strong>\u2026Is it a original work<\/strong> ? Weren't you inspired byideas<\/strong> from others science fiction authors<\/strong> or ofdystopian anticipation<\/strong>, how do you define your field?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laurent: <\/strong>Nothing is born from nothing, that's obvious. There is always a foundation<\/strong>, a source of inspiration<\/strong>. If you mean by that that my text<\/strong> relies on others ideas<\/strong>, I can only admit it. Fewauthors<\/strong> can boast of having imagined a concept<\/strong> as original as the Three Laws of Robotics<\/strong> ofAsimov<\/strong>. This is a matter of fertile imagination<\/strong> and a successful reflection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robert: <\/strong>Yet, from my perspective, I observe a continuity<\/strong> between the golem<\/strong> of the Jewish tradition<\/strong>, there Frankenstein's creature<\/strong> and the Asimov's robots<\/strong>They are part of the same line of thought<\/strong> on the power<\/strong> that theman<\/strong> can generate, its moral limits<\/strong> and the hazard<\/strong> of the creatures<\/strong> that escape him.
