Although I'm starting out today as a budding writer, this isn't my first attempt at graphic design. I've been practicing graphic design since middle school and still have sketchbooks dating back decades. I've also created non-figurative paintings and explored various techniques I've come up with myself, including acrylic paint and the use of water on large surfaces.
On the other hand, I never learned to draw figurative subjects. I have imagination and creativity, but no academic drawing techniques. It's a shame, because I would have liked to know how to represent a person, an animal, or a landscape. As my grandmother used to say: “Painting is not a profession.” Meh! Yet, digital art has brought me a lot and, it must be admitted, artificial intelligence is accomplishing wonders today.
So here are some graphic creations. As a little anecdote, I designed my logo myself: it's a stylized representation of a drawing made a long time ago.
I hope you enjoy browsing these image galleries.
