The author imagines himself writing on the moon in a spacesuit under a rising Earth that can be seen above the city under a transparent bubble.

I immersed myself in reading science fiction during my youth, almost exclusively this literary genre. I stumbled upon a collection of novels locked in a cupboard demon father. This immersion fed my thirst for adventure and ofimaginary. I also devoured a quantity of comics of science fiction. THE 1970s and 1980s were teeming with exceptional graphic talents. Looking back, I realize today that I had a predilection for the designers whose style flirted with thehyperrealism. This probably explains why I seek to be so accurate in my writings. I will mention this subject in more detail in another ticket.

Regarding the science fiction authors which have marked me the most, it is difficult for me to draw up one hierarchy so many were they and influential. Among the most known, some have seen their adapted works At movie theater or declined in series.

I am thinking in particular of Frank Herbert and to his mythical universe Dune. The first adaptation project was initiated by Alejandro Jodorowsky but remained aborted; it will be necessary to wait 1984 so that David Lynch delivers his vision, representative of the know-how of the time despite shared criticism. More recently, Denis Villeneuve revisited this fresco brilliantly, taking advantage of the modern technologies while maintaining a remarkable quality of production. To the television, we can cite the mini-series from the 2000s as well as a more recent production exploring the Genesis of theHerbert's universe.

I could also mention Isaac Asimov, whose concepts around the robots and famous ones Three Laws of Robotics, just like the Foundation saga, have deeply marked the gender. Arthur C. Clarke is also among my major influences, with his Meeting with Rama and above all 2001: A Space Odyssey, co-written with Stanley Kubrick and masterfully brought to thescreen in 1968.

And there are so many more… Van Vogt and his cycle of the World of A, Robert A. Heinlein and many others, all of whom have marked my passionate reader's journey. Among these novels, some have marked me to the point that I have them reread years later, like Dune, Foundation or even The Robots ofAsimov.
